(Senior) Medical information manager

Job description

You become a key player of the medical information group and are responsible for retrieval, interpretation and copywriting of medical-scientific information in order to deliver the medical communication and education solutions according to agreed planning and hours and the expectations of the account managers, medical thought leaders and the clients.

You become a trusted contact person of medical thought leaders.

Therefore you:

  • Participate in solution team meetings
  • Attend closed meetings and medical congresses
  • Perform (medical) copy writing of deliverables such as:
    • Summaries of publications/Highlights of congresses/symposia
    • Congress abstracts/Poster presentations/Slides for oral presentations
    • Full manuscripts/publications
    • Product monographs
    • Slide Resources
    • Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
    • Minutes of meetings
    • Educational websites

Senior level

  • Questionnaires and input for advisory board meetings
  • Systematic literature review reports
  • Study/survey/outcome research protocols
  • Study/survey case report forms (CRFs)/data collection forms (DCFs)
  • Clinical study reports
  • Components of the clinical overview for registration purposes
  • Perform quality control on the correctness of the communication against the source data/Proofread typeset text
  • Perform information (literature, illustration, etc) searches in Reference Manager, PubMed, Embase, Biosis, Internet, etc.
  • Adopt new solution ideas in copywriting

You report in matrix to the account manager leading the solution team an in line to one of the managing directors.

Profile

Competence tag cloud Medical information manager

You hold a Master or preferably PhD in biomedical sciences, biology, biochemistry, pharmacy or medicine and you want to transform medical information into written communication that influences opinions.

You like to search for medical information using different kind of sources, including biomedical databases and the Internet.

You have basic or in-depth knowledge of clinical research.

You have excellent command of English (reading, writing and speaking).

You have a high level command of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, (Excel).

You set high standard for yourself and your environment.

You can work on an individual basis as well as in team.

You show an above average dedication, passion, flexibility and creativity in working with your colleagues and medical thought leaders.

You show an open-minded mentality valuing transparency, trust and respect.
